VB Girls Rank Well in WCAC Statistics
Seven Charger volleyball players are on top ten lists in WCAC statistics through games played on Tuesday, Sept. 18. Makayla Hoing holds down the number two spot in kills in the conference with 36, for an average of 3 per set. Chelsea Larsen and Mady Smith both made the assists list, with Larsen having 44 (3.7 per set) for eighth place and Smith recording 30 (2.5 per set) for the number ten position.
Olivia Laabs sits in the number seven spot for digs with 47 (3.9 per set), while three Chargers are in the top ten in the block category. Jadeyn Carrick holds down the number three spot with 10; Fuller is ranked sixth with 9; and Mady Smith is tenth with 7.
Smith also makes the list in serving efficiency with 98% on 44 out of 45 serves. Four girls are in the top ten in serving aces, with Savana Fuller in the number two spot with 12, Hoing is in the fourth position with 11, Laabs is seventh with 10, and Genevieve Hoover is at number nine with 9 aces.
Most teams are at the halfway point in conference play, with the exception on DMC and Ogden. DMC has played just two conference matches, while Ogden has played three.
