ACGC VB to Face Madrid in Regionals; Tie for Fourth in WCAC


The ACGC volleyball team learned Tuesday night who it will play in the regional quarterfinals when Madrid defeated Panorama in a first round game in Madrid. The Tigers defeated the Panthers in straight sets 30-28, 25-12, 25-15. The Chargers will face the Tigers on the Chargers' home court next Monday, Oct. 23 at 7 PM. ACGC defeated Madrid in its WCAC match last week 25-23, 25-17, and 25-15.

After the final conference matches were completed last Thursday, the Chargers finished in a three way tie for fourth place with Ogden and Earlham, with all three schools going 4-4 on the conference season. Des Moines Christian claimed the title with a perfect 8-0 record. Conference standings and overall records are as follows:
