Final WCAC VB Statistics Find Six Chargers in Top Ten Categories


Six members of the Charger volleyball team are listed in the top ten in a variety of statistical categories at the conclusion of the West Central Activities Conference season. MakKayla Hoing finished fourth in the number of kills with 64 (based on minimum 100 attempts)and sixth in kill efficiency with a 23.3% success rate. In the serving department, Mady Smith was fourth in serve efficiency with a 96.5% rate, as she was successful on 82 of 85 serves (based on minimum of 50 attempts). Hoing placed eighth in the number of successful serves with 90 and fifth in the number of aces with 18 .

Chelsea Larsen was seventh in assists with 92, with Smith finishing in the number eight spot with 66. Olivia Laabs finished with 97 digs, good for 4th place, while the Chargers had three players in the top ten of the blocking category. Jadeyn Carrick finished second in the conference with 21 blocks, followed by Savana Fuller who held down the number four position with 18, and Mady Smith who was ninth with 14 .

The Chargers begin post season play tonight (Monday) when the will host Madrid in a region three quarterfinal contest beginning at 7 o'clock.
