Four Chargers Receive All-Conference Volleyball Honors


It was announced this morning that four payers on the ACGC volleyball team have earned all-WCAC honors as determined by the conference coaches. Senior Mady Smith was a first team pick while fellow senior MaKayla Hoing was selected on the second team. Junior Jadeyn Carrick and sophomore Olivia Laabs were both named among the honorable mention selections.

Smith was sixth in the conference in serve efficiency at 96.5% (50 or more serves), ninth in assists with 66, and tenth in blocks with 14. Hoing placed fifth in the WCAC in kills with 64, ninth in kill efficiency at 23.3%, ninth in successful serves with 90, and fifth in ace serves with 18. Carrick was second in blocks with 20 and Laabs paced fourth the conference in digs with 97.*
