Seven Charger Gridders Named All-District; Eight are All-Academic


Seven ACGC football players were named to the Class 1A district seven honor teams, with senior Cole Boyer the lone Charger pegged for the first team. Senior Caden Wardyn, Junior Ben Kingery, and sophomore Quynton Younker were named to the second team, while seniors Collin Stowe, Logan Brincks, and junior Gabe Rowley were listed as honorable mention.

Boyer was the top tackler in the district with 62.5, while Wardyn was second in the district in kickoff return yardage with an average return of 28.2 yards and also place third in pass receptions with twelve. Younker led the district in fumble recoveries with four and Rowley as third in that category with two. Kingery was sixth in tackles with 49.5.

Eight Charger were named all-academic, including Stowe, Boyer, Wardyn, Rowley, Kingery, as well as seniors Dustin Hansen and Sam Fuller and junior Avery Wheatley.
