ACGC Wrestlers Fall to South Central Calhoun, 57-24


Last night's wrestling competition for the Chargers was scheduled to be a double dual with Greene County and South Central Calhoun, but turned out to be a single dual with South Central Calhoun in which the Titans topped the Chargers by a 57-24 score.

Blaine Beeler at 120 lb. and Gabe Rowley at 138 lb. were the only Chargers to win in head to head competition, with both Chargers winning by fall. Beeler pinned Hannah Payne in 1:41 and Rowley won over Hunter Voith in 2:47. Seth Danker and Easton Benson were the only other victors for the Chargers, with both winning by forfeit.

Next up for ACGC will be a sixteen team tournament at Southwest Valley High School in Corning on both Friday and Saturday. The action will begin on Friday at 4 PM and will resume on Saturday at 10 AM. The triangular dual at Woodbine that was postponed last week has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, with matches to begin at 5:30 PM.
