The Iowa High School Athletic Association announced its new football district assignments yesterday. The ACGC Chargers have been assigned to Class 1A district number 8 along with Clarinda, Mount Ayr, Panorama, Van Meter and West Central Valley. As here are only six teams in the district, it means that each team will have to schedule four non-district games to fill out its nine game schedule. The results of all nine regular season games will be included in determining the district champion and at-large qualifiers for post season play. The ACGC schedule will be announced at a later date.
