Charger Girl Golfers Play at Woodward; Haley Sheeder Ties for Fourth

A sunny day greeted the Charger girls' golf team last Thursday, as they traveled to Woodward to compete with five other schools in Woodward-Granger Invitational. As a team ACGC finished sixth with a score of 494 strokes. Panorama and Ballard tied for first with scores of 425.

Haley Sheeder paced the Chargers with her best performance of the season--a score of 101 over the 18 hole course, good enough for a fourth place tie among the forty golfers competing. Other scores for the Chargers included Kena Baier's 115 and a 131 and 147 for Jessica Stringer and Sally Jo Geckler respectively.

Today the team is scheduled to participate in the WCAC meet, weather permitting, at the Lakeview Golf Course near Winterset.
