The ACGC wrestlers won one of three dual meets at Woodward-Granger last night, as they defeated Baxter, 65-6, and fell to South Central Calhoun by a single point, 43-42, and host Woodward-Granger, 42-34.

Gabe Rowley went 3-0 on the day as he threw opponents from South Central Calhoun and Woodward-Granger, while winning by a technical fall over his Baxter opponent. Several Chargers won two matches in head to head competition, and a third by forfeit including Seth Danker, Blaine Beeler, Cale Rowley, Easton Benson, and Ben Kingery.

The elder Rowley and Beeler both crossed the thirty win threshold, as Rowley picked up wins 30, 31, and 32, while Beeler now has 31 wins on the season. Kingery recorded the fastest fall when he threw Jason Soard of South Central Calhoun in 41 seconds.

In head to head competition ACGC won 14 matches and lost 10. The 1-2 team record gives the Chargers a 16-8 dual record for the year. The team is scheduled to wrestle in the Southwest Valley tournament in Corning on both Friday and Saturday. Friday's action is scheduled to begin at 4 PM with Saturday's matches to begin at 10 AM. Inclement weather is expected to move into the area on Friday which may affect the schedule.
