Charger Boys to Face Mount Ayr in Opening Round of District Tourney


The ACGC boys' basketball team learned of its opponent in the first round of district play when the Iowa High School Athletic Association released the district tournament pairings for classes 1A and 2A yesterday. The Chargers will face 15-3 Mount Ayr in a game to be played at West Central Valley on Monday, February 11 at 6:30 PM. The other opening round game that night will pit Panorama against West Central Valley following the ACGC/Mount Ayr game. Mount Ayr is a member of the ten team Pride of Iowa Conference which includes teams such as Nodaway Valley, Martnsdale-St. Mary's, and Southwest Valley. If the Chargers win its first round game it will face Des Moines Christian on the Lions' home court on Thursday, February 14 in a district semifinal game.
