Danker, Kading Medal at CRB Golf Invitational; Team Places Second


Charger linksters Seth Danker and Eli Kading won medals at the Coon Rapids-Bayard Invitational on Saturday when they placed third and fifth respectively in the three team meet. Danker shot an 86 to place third among the eighteen golfers while Kading placed fifth with a score of 90.

The Charger squad finished second behind CRB with a total of 389 strokes. The Crusaders won the event with a score of 343, while the Panorama JV took third with a 394.

Other ACGC individual participants and their scores were as follows: Nolan Wheatley 104, Cael Hoing, 109, Dawson Muller 113, and Nash Ayers 129. The best four individual scores count as the team total.

The boys are off until Friday of this week when they will begin play in the state playoffs with the sectional tournament at a site to be determined according to the ACGC school website.

The Charger girls will be in action today when they will host Perry on the Guthrie Center course.
