Softball and Baseball Postseason Pairings Released by IGHSAU and IAHSAA

The girls' union and boys' association released postseason pairings for softball and baseball, respectively, last week. The Charger girls will open play on Monday, July 8 when they host West Central Valley in what is often referred to as a play-in game, the winner of which advances to the regional quarterfinals. Game time is scheduled for 7PM. Should the locals win that one, they will travel to Van Meter to face the Bulldogs on Wednesday, July 10 at 7 PM.

The ACGC boys will meet WCAC rival Panorama on the Panthers' home field on Saturday, July 13 at 7 PM in the first round of district play. If the Chargers defeat Panorama they will next play at Van Meter against Interstate 35 on Tuesday, July 16, also at 7 PM. Go Chargers!
