Gunnar Larsen also placed third at 132 and improved his record to 9-2. Larsen lost by a single point, 1-0, in the semifinals, but bounced back to finish third with a 7-0 decision over Brady Thompson of Logan-Magnolia.

Carter Andreason and Kale Rowley took fourth place at 138 and 145 respectively. Andreason is now 3-2 for the season and Rowley is 7-4. Cole Plowman at 170 and Devon Jackson at 182 also competed for the Chargers, but did not place.

The Chargers will host a triangular meet on Tuesday. The meet will be a unique experiment, as it will be held at the same time as high school basketball games.
