Following Richter's serve the Chargers' lead had increased to 23-11.

The final set remained close through three fourths of the set which found the Chargers leading by a single point at 14-13. After that ACGC scored ten out of eleven points to increase its lead to 24-14, and virtually clinch the match. The final point was tallied on a net serve by the Bulldogs.
