Charger Golfers Place Second at CRB Invite

The ACGC boys' golf team returned to action on Saturday and finished second to Panorama in a triangular hosted by Coon Rapids-Bayard. The Chargers totaled 355 strokes over the eighteen holes played, while the Panthers won with a low score of 332. The host Crusaders totaled 367.

Seth Danker played his best gold to date and tied for medalist with a score of 82. Charger coach Lori McGivney said there was a process used to break the three way tie for the top spot.

"After the cardback process was used to break the tie, it was determined hat Seth finished in second place.

"The team is working very hard with staying positive and developing their skills," McGivney continued. "The wind was a battle for everyone."

Nolan Wheatley had the second low score for the Chargers, as he carded an 87. He was followed by Gunnar Larsen's 92 and Eli Kading's 94. The top four golfers determined the team score. Also playing for ACGC was Bo Arrasmith who scored an even 100 and Jaden Forsyth who shot a 101.

The Panthers' Ryan Klinge and Bryce Taylor each scored an 82, while Lucas Leiferman and Evan Taylor each shot an 84 to give the team its 332 total.
