Charger Track Teams Finish 4th and 5th at Wheeler Relays

The ACGC track teams journeyed to Audubon Tuesday to compete in the Audubon Wheeler Relays, with the boys finishing fourth in an eleven team meet and the girls finishing fifth in a thirteen team meet. Teams from Underwood swept both the girls' and boys' competition with 100 points in the girls' meet and 123 in the boys' meet. The Charger girls came up with 61 points and the boys had 81.

Charger boys' coach Cody Matthewson said he approached this meet differently. "We really moved some guys around and tried out some different guys in different relays. We rested some guys' legs and didn't go after points tonight."

The Chargers managed one first place in each of the meets. Trevin Suhr took the boys' 1600 meter run in a time of 4:39.33 and Chloe Largent continued her winning ways in the high jump, clearing 5'2".

Cael Hoing claimed second place in the shot put with a put of 44'5", and Justin Reinhart ran the 3200 meter run in 11:12.09 to finish second. Rylee Sloss finished second in the 1500 meter run in a time of 5:23.71.
