District Basketball Assignments Announced by IHSAA

The Iowa High School Athletic Association has announced the district assignments for the upcoming post season tournaments. Each of the sixteen districts in class 2A consists of six schools. ACGC and Panorama have been placed in district 15 along with four other WCAC schools. The winner of district fifteen will play the winner of district sixteen in a substate game to determine the state tournament qualifier from southwest Iowa.

In addition to the Chargers and Panthers the other teams in district fifteen are Interstate 35, Van Meter, West Central Valley, and Woodward-Granger. The teams from district sixteen are Clarinda, Missouri Valley, Red Oak, Shenandoah, Treynor, and Underwood. The IHSAA will announce the pairings at a later date.
