Twelve Chargers Make First, Second Team All District Football

A total of twelve ACGC football players were recently chosen as first or second team all district players by the six district head coaches. Heading the first team offense is Gavin Cornelison who led the district in rushing with a total of 731 yards. Joining him on the first unit were lineman Cael Hoing and running back Cayden Jensen who led the district in all purpose yards with 948. All three are seniors.

Two additional seniors were awarded with first team defensive honors including linebacker Reid Rumelhart and defensive back Charlie Crawford. Sophomore lineman Payton Jacobe was also named to the first defensive unit.

Named to the second team offense were linemen Hayden Tunink and Dallas Jacobe, while junior Brock Littler was named as a utility player. Three additional juniors were also named to the second defensive unit including Seth Reno as a lineman, Ben Marsh as a linebacker, and Austin Kunkle as a defensive back.

Three Chargers received honorable mention including senior Miles Kading, junior Blake Newby, and freshman Michael Fuller.
